There’ll be wand-waving of a different sort during the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra’s Halloween-themed concert on Saturday, October 22, 2017, when Associate Conductor Alejandro Gómez Guillén leads the orchestra in musical selections from the Harry Potter films. This family-friendly concert will take place at White’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Southlake and include an instrument petting zoo provided by Music & Arts for children to try out different orchestral instruments.
Halloween with Harry Potter—presented in partnership with the Apex Arts League—will include orchestral music from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, featuring music by Academy Award®-winning composer John Williams.
Concert-goers are invited to attend in their Hogwarts-regalia or their muggle clothes. This concert begins at 6:00 PM in White’s Chapel UMC, Southlake on Saturday, October 22, 2017. The instrument petting zoo will begin one hour earlier at 5:00 PM. Prices are $10 for children and $20 for adults, with discounts available for Apex members.
